Websites for 2019: Skimp Out and Miss Out

2019 is the year of Maximum Value, More Users and Brand Trust.

Business forecasts for 2019 are talking about: riding out a rocky economy, who deserves trust and readiness to handle change.

Users/Customers are looking for more consistency and transparency in communications. All of these issues circle back to the company website.

For once we are not starting off the year with a list of requirements. We don’t have a to-do list of must-haves. We can use our budget and resource to move beyond the basics. Start out the year with plan. Make a wish list on how to move your website forward and become the site you need to grow your business.

Here’s what we will cover:

  • Set Your Website Goal– Forget about the to-do list for now. If you could improve one area of your website, how would that impact business?
  • Supporting More Users– Can we finally get past the idea of your website as a marketing brochure? Your website should touch all parts of your organization. If not, why?
  • Web Content Providing Value and Trust– In 2019 we need our web pages to provide maximum value to our company. At the same time, creating a brand that people trust. How do we do that?
  • The Radical Redesign– What should I do in 2019?

Introduction:

Why did I title this presentation, “Skimp Out and Miss Out”? We have an opportunity to move website projects forward this year. Maybe even projects we haven’t had a chance to get around to in the past few years. For once, we’re not starting out the year with a required to-do list. Finally this year, we’ve got a clean slate and we can kind of do what we want to do.

So what are we going to do with our website this year?

What our presentation is here to do is give you a little inspiration. Let’s set aside the website to-do list for right now and think about more global business problems. What are folks experiencing on a business level? How is that going to come back and reflect to the company website? I want to help you start to visualize your website goals.
